Hair Is Happy When Its Not Nappy.

I LOVE new hair supplies, because NO ONE LIKES a disheveled head of hair! Right?! I was thinking about shaving my hair all off, but didn't...

SO, now I have new toys to play with! One of the great things I was able to not burn myself with today was the KQC X-HEAT Ceramic Styling Iron! This was my first flat iron, and it was super easy to use. I chose this one, because it apparently the Top Rated & Most Popular. I didn't wash my hair for 2 days, and kept braiding it, letting it get rather nappy.

Using the KQC Iron, I set it on about 300 degrees (it has various settings from 140 to 410) which is genius, since my hair seems to have a mind of its own sometimes, choosing to be nappier on certain days than others.

I just quickly ran the iron through my hair, as if I were just brushing it through, and it pretty much took all the nappy out. It looked as if I went n' got a professional blow dry from the salon, except I didn't spend that $100 at the salon AND it looked more natural and shiny!

Overall, the KQC X-Heat Ceramic Iron is a winner in the flat iron departmen. I had to write, I just HAD to! Super excited. No mo' nappy hur for me.

(I also used Bed Head Brunette Shine Spray, Eco Freako Texturizer and Bed Head Hair Stick...just to keep the fly aways far, far away.)

I'm a terrible person...making fried foods. Frying up Jalapenos and Potatoes, that was my contribution to the Super Bowl. And no, I didn't eat the bacon poppers, I did make some without. Plus, the fried Potato Balls were good too, so I didn't miss out.

Oh Chocolate, How Do I Love Thee?? Let Me Count The Bites.

I absolutely LOVE chocolate, from the darkest to the whitest, all of it, hand it on over. Can't just walk out with one bar from the store, always gotta walk out with at least 2 or more. Little bites of chocolate throughout the day keeps all the bad away!

Usually the nails get smeared or get hair stuck to them, but this time, perfecto. Nails dried nicely, and managed to try out different colors! Used the N.Y.C. Pink from Target, and the LA GIRLS FLARE in a blue-ish green color from Forever 21.

SuperBowl Makes Me Crave American Junk Food.

Fixin' to have a hot dog today, so that's what I did. Kinda, sorta...okay, no not really. I had VEGE dogs instead. No, they aren't the same, no where near a normal meaty hot dog, and come to think of it, that's okay! Because hot dogs are usually made of scrap meat from cows, pigs, horses, dogs, you know, scrap meat... kidding. I don't know. That's the thing, I don't know. Besides the point. I had "faux" hot dogs this afternoon.

I love lip balms, especially Burts Bees! Been using the Honey and Beeswax balms for the last while, but now, I'm pretty hooked on the Pomegranate balm! Goes on smooth without the grease, and it smells great. A lot of chapsticks are more drying than they are moisturizing, but I know I can count on the Bees! LOVE LOVE LOVE THE Burts Bees Line of..well..just about everything!

AHHHHH A BED HEAD HAIR PRODUCT and MAKE UP HAUL!!!!

Always exciting when something other than a bill n' junk come in the mail! I LOVE FUN PACKAGES! Today's package came from a favorite hair n' make up company called "Bed Head" which I'm sure you've seen before. They always have crazy bottles, with crazy names for their products, like, "Cocky" Hair Paste, "Punk Out" Hair Gunk, you know funky names like that.

Anyway, they are great at making hair "gunk," the stuff holds and smells extremely sweet. Like candy for hair I guess you can say. What I didn't know until last year was, they also have make up available, so its been super fun testing that line as well!
