What Happened?

What happened to blind folded surprises, chocolate covered strawberries, home cooked meal, rose petals on the floor, house full of red, pink, n' white balloons, teddy bears with sweet whimsical sayings bought off the street, some sparkling water, cheap candied hearts sprinkled all over the table, heart shaped gift boxed hearts filled with sweet love notes, tea light candles lit in every corner, vases of beautiful flowers picked from the neighbors yards, a bath full of bubbles, a selection of dvds in a 5 disc dvd player to fall asleep to on the couch and a happy boyfriend / husband who was oh so happy to do all of that...

You know...it does happen. Well, it did, before everyone got so caught up on this internet thing I guess. I don't know. THIS SUCKS. It can also happen with a little time, maybe 3 hours, and within a budget. Most of these things can be found at a 99 cent store. So really, there are no excuses.

I don't even think girls enjoy things like this anymore either.

Its JUST ME. Times have changed..for the worse.

Boo Hoo Song Of The Evening.

If you don't want to cry, don't listen to this.

What? Love is blind? Great.

Don't Wait.

I know, everyone hates Valentine's Day, but its never too much to let the people in your life know you appreciate them. I know, I know, who cares, what's the point, etc. etc. it just makes things a little bit better than they are. That's it. Even for a second, it kinda matters.

Then again, what do I know?

Grass Isn't Just For My Dog.

Its a charging station. Just don't let my dog near it, and it'll be fine. I like this. Reminds me of Easter Egg Hunting.

He blinded me with science.

This is what my Medicine Cabbie looks like.

Hair Is Happy When Its Not Nappy.

I LOVE new hair supplies, because NO ONE LIKES a disheveled head of hair! Right?! I was thinking about shaving my hair all off, but didn't...

SO, now I have new toys to play with! One of the great things I was able to not burn myself with today was the KQC X-HEAT Ceramic Styling Iron! It was ordered from http://www.flatironexperts.com/KQC-X-Heat-Tourmaline-Ceramic-Flat-Iron-p/kqcxheat.htm Which is an AMAZING AMAZING website for everything Flat Irons!

This was my first flat iron, and it was super easy to use. I chose this one, because it apparently the Top Rated & Most Popular. I didn't wash my hair for 2 days, and kept braiding it, letting it get rather nappy.

Using the KQC Iron, I set it on about 300 degrees (it has various settings from 140 to 410) which is genius, since my hair seems to have a mind of its own sometimes, choosing to be nappier on certain days than others.

I just quickly ran the iron through my hair, as if I were just brushing it through, and it pretty much took all the nappy out. It looked as if I went n' got a professional blow dry from the salon, except I didn't spend that $100 at the salon AND it looked more natural and shiny!

Overall, the KQC X-Heat Ceramic Iron is a winner in the flat iron departmen. I had to write, I just HAD to! Super excited. No mo' nappy hur for me.

(I also used Bed Head Brunette Shine Spray, Eco Freako Texturizer and Bed Head Hair Stick...just to keep the fly aways far, far away.)

Its getting hairy.

Pop That Jalapeno.

I'm a terrible person...making fried foods. Frying up Jalapenos and Potatoes, that was my contribution to the Super Bowl. And no, I didn't eat the bacon poppers, I did make some without. Plus, the fried Potato Balls were good too, so I didn't miss out.
